Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates it. That company processes the query and supplies its results. Parmer County Criminal History does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or other message may be retained long enough to answer and maintain the exchange. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal duty.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, servers can record routine technical and usage details such as:

- Visited pages and approximate time spent on them

- Your device's assigned IP address
- A referring website, when available
Cookies and Analytics

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Parmer County Criminal History does not keep, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It publishes directions to records held by the Parmer County sheriff and courts, the Texas Department of Public Safety, Crime Records Division, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Texas Government Code Chapter 411 controls dissemination of state criminal-history record information, while this private site holds no such government repository. The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report or a file about another person.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information entered there is governed by that provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each company controls its own retention, processing, and disclosure practices, so review its terms before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Parmer County offices, Texas agencies, courts, legal resources, or outside search tools. Once a visitor follows such a link, the destination's privacy rules apply. Review them before providing personal details.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to follow activity across websites for interest-based advertising. We do not operate that tracking.
