Arrest History in Parmer County

Four Dates Shape Parmer Arrest Records
Arrest, booking, filing, and DPS reporting are four events. The arrest time comes from the officer's action. Booking begins when the jail completes intake. Filing occurs only if a prosecutor brings the charge into court. DPS later receives eligible arrest, prosecution, and disposition reports from Texas criminal-justice agencies and tries to match them through identifiers and fingerprints.

Parmer County Arrests and State Custody
County jail custody and state prison custody are separate. The TDCJ Online Inmate Search uses last name, first name, TDCJ number, SID number, gender, and race. It is the right channel for Texas Department of Criminal Justice custody, not for a person held only in the Parmer County Jail. Identifier searches are strongest when a TDCJ or SID number is known.
